Tips for Using the AUA Annual Meeting USB Flash Drive files:
When you insert the Flashdrive and select the corresponding drive, you'll see the files below.
Click the "start.htm" file.
You may receive a message that says:
To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer. Click here for options...
If you receive this message, click and allow blocked content.
You will see the following screen:
The top part of the screen provides you with extensive search options for accessing course handouts, abstracts and selected posters. The bottom part of the screen provides you with links to an array of online AUA resources.
Accessing Course Handouts:
To access course handouts, you must search by track.
Select "Track" from the first drop-down menu and "Course Handout" in the second drop-down menu. You will then see a list of therapeutic areas from which to choose.
If, for example, you would like to access course handouts on prostate cancer, you would select #6, Oncology: Prostate/Testis/Penis/Urethra. You will be able to access handouts for all courses in that therapeutic area. Click "[course handout]" and you will access a pdf of that file.
Accessing Posters
In the first drop-down menu, select "Sessions with Uploaded Posters."
In the second drop-down menu, select "Moderated Poster."
You will then get a list of topic areas that included downloadable posters.
Note that these files include only those posters that were uploaded to the Mira site by April 18, 2011. Any additional posters that have been uploaded since that time can be accessed here.
Accessing Abstracts
You can access all meeting abstracts by using the search functions. You can search by title, author, session or keywords. If, for example, you would like to search for all abstracts and sessions on Peyronie's Disease, select "keyword" from the first drop-down menu and enter "Peyronie's" in the search field:
