AUA Data Grants

The AUA Data Grants fund research proposals that address key knowledge gaps and emerging research questions related to urological care, workforce development and health policy. The grants promote novel and methodologically rigorous analyses that inform policymakers, payers, the urology community, other health care providers and the public about key issues in urological care.

Summer Medical Student Fellowship

The Summer Medical Student Fellowship Program is a chance for outstanding medical students to pursue urology research by engaging them in summer research fellowships alongside world-class urologic scientists. Awardees receive $4,000 stipends to support them during a ten-week mentored research experience.

The John W. Duckett, Jr., MD, Pediatric Urology Research Excellence Award

Established in 2009, this award honors a physician-scientist or researcher for their outstanding work in pediatric urology. Awardees are nominated by the Societies for Pediatric Urology and selected by a review committee. The award is provided through a fund established by Mrs. Peggy Duckett-Drach and the Societies for Pediatric Urology.

The Richard D. Williams, MD, Prostate Cancer Research Excellence Award
