AUA International Resident Scholar Program

The AUA International Resident Scholar Program allows two residents from Brazil, Japan, India and China to attend the AUA Annual Meeting. The program is intended to provide potential first-time visitors to the United States and/or to the Annual Meeting a comprehensive meeting experience and exposure to cutting-edge science on a broad range of urologic topics. The residents will also take part in AUA social events where they will interact with members and leaders of the Association.

Each year, two residents and an alternate are identified by their respective national urological associations and each scholar's curriculum vitae is provided to the AUA. The AUA then develops a comprehensive educational track for each scholar to take full advantage of the AUA Annual Meeting and mentors are also chosen by the AUA to ensure a successful experience for each resident.

Round-trip air fare is provided by each resident's national urological association. AUA provides complimentary hotel accommodations, meeting registration and tickets to AUA events.

The AUA International Resident Scholar Program is a unique and important opportunity for interested residents from these four countries. For more information or to learn how to apply, contact irsp@auanet.org.
