The AMERICAN UROLOGICAL ASSOCIATION consists of two Maryland corporations, namely the American Urological Association, Inc., a professional association representing its members in health policy and related matters, and the American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc., a separate charitable and educational organization enjoying tax-exempt status. The latter corporation publishes the Journal of Urology, sponsors the Office of Education and the new Office of Research, and is responsible also for the educational component of the AUA Annual Meeting. AUA members enjoy dual membership in both organizations. Affiliated with both AUA corporations are its eight regional Sections, and also the American Foundation for Urological Disease, a tax-exempt foundation emphasizing patient education and co-sponsoring the Scholars program with AUA Education and Research, Inc.

For AUANet.org

The American Urological Association has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this web site: auanet.org.

Our site uses cookies to keep track of your shopping cart. We also use cookies to identify you so you don't have to register each time you visit.

AUANet.org contains areas and forms that require user and member registration to give us contact information (e.g. their name and email address), unique identifiers (e.g. AUA Id number), financial information (e.g. account or credit card numbers), and demographic information (e.g. ZIP code, age or special interest area).

We use customer contact information from the registration form to encode an electronic business card distributed to the registrant with the meeting materials. The card is used to track attendance to sessions as well as for sales lead follow-up by interested exhibiting companies.

Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services. Unique identifiers (such as AUA ID number) are collected to verify the user's identity. Demographic and profile data is also collected at our site. All data is only used for AUA purposes.

This site contains links to other sites. AUANet.org is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.

AUANet.org online surveys ask users and members for contact information (like their email address) and demographic information (like their ZIP code and age). We use contact data from our surveys to send the user information about our association. The customer's contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary.
