The American Urological Association (AUA) has developed a high quality urological education program—CME Connection—focused on ultrasound that can be delivered to your site.
Why Bring a Speaker to your Organization?
Imaging has become an increasingly sought after topic and AUA Hands-on Ultrasound courses are always highly in demand. Ultrasound is a safe and effective tool for the diagnosis and management of urologic conditions. An understanding of ultrasound physics, artifacts and techniques is critical to obtaining high-quality images.
There is a gap in urologic practice and a need to expand ultrasound imaging education to cover all U.S. regions, thus the AUA is reaching out to allow Specialty Societies and other groups to meet this need.
This three hour course includes a one hour didactic session with a two-hour hands-on session with expert urological faculty.
Timing
The course must be scheduled four to six months in advance. You research your audience’s availability and AUA coordinates with the expert faculty to find a mutually acceptable date(s). Saturdays, Sundays or weekdays, it’s up to you.
Location
You can host this course at your own facility or at an outside facility.
Number of Attendees
A minimum of 20 registered attendees.
Costs
Total cost of the three hour ultrasound course is $9,100 plus additional/variable expenses. A 50 percent non-refundable deposit is required four months prior to course date. Total remaining fees due to the AUA 30 days in advance of the course.
