The Guidelines Department works closely with the AUA’s Practice Guidelines Committee to convene expert panels that scrutinize critical clinical topics in which the level of evidence supports a comprehensive examination and recommendations. More efficient and streamlined processes are being tested and implemented to ensure that our clinical guidelines are rigorous, up to date and less burdensome for physician panel members.
