Patenting of Medical and Surgical Procedures
The American Urological Association (AUA) endorses the American Medical Association House of Delegates resolution as follows:
"That the American Medical Association condemns the patenting of medical and surgical procedures and will work with Congress to outlaw this practice." (AMA House of Delegates, Sub. Res. 2, A-94; reaffirmed: BPT Rep. 29, A-04)
