Universal Blood and Body Fluid Precautions to Prevent Occupational HIV and HBV Transmission
The American Urological Association (AUA) and the AUA Foundation agree with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) strategy of "universal blood and body fluid precautions" to address concerns regarding transmission of HIV in the health-care setting. Universal precautions as outlined by the CDC and endorsed by the AUA can be found here.
