Health Policy

The AUA Health Policy Division conducts advocacy, education and research to promote and protect urologists' professional autonomy and ability to provide the highest quality of care to their patients. The Division, comprised of five departments, recruits highly qualified, professionally trained staff to improve existing programs and institute new initiatives in the key areas of reimbursement, legislation, regulation, practice management, clinical practice guidelines, and quality.

We are determined to raise the visibility of urology with the general public, on Capitol Hill, in federal agencies, and at the state and regional level to ensure that our members' interests are well represented. In seeking to serve the field and our members' best interests, we have compiled an array of materials to keep you apprised of the latest developments in the health policy arena.
