Technical Questions:
Q: What kind of software do I need to play the video files?
A: Windows Media Player 9 or higher. This is a free download from Microsoft's web site
Q: Can I view the Streaming Video Library with a Macintosh?
A: Yes, you can download Windows Media Player for Macintosh computers as well. Feel free to test your configuration by viewing our sample clips (trailers) that are posted here.
Q: What kind of Internet connection do I need?
A: A high-speed (eg: Cable/DSL or better) internet connection is required to view all video files. Because of their educational value, these files have been encoded for very high AV quality. Higher resolution requires more Internet bandwidth to stream.
Q: Can I watch the videos on more than one computer?
A: Yes. You can access your video(s) from any computer within the timeframe for which paid. After your session expires, you can no longer view the video(s).
Q: How can I be sure that the quality is high enough for my needs?
A: We have posted a few example clips (trailers) that you can test on your computer. They are encoded at the same quality level as each of our full length videos.
Q: How can I make the video bigger?
A: You can view the video at full screen by double-clicking the area where it is playing. However the quality doesn't actually improve - the pixels are simply stretched. This can make the video look extremely grainy.
