Normal Urine cytology: Prostatic Cells
|
- Histologic features:
- form small aggregates that maintain a "ball-like" or glandular configuration
- cells are small and may be columnar or round with slightly acidophilic (pink) cytoplasm
- nucleus: single small, round to oval, with finely granular chromatin.
- May be seen following prostatic massage.
