Pearly Penile Papules

- also known as "hirsutoid papillomas"
- Etiology: does not appear to be infectious or neoplastic; may represent persistence of embryonic remnants.
- Gross: yellow-white papules on the corona (rarely on the frenulum) of the penis; look dome-like, resembling hair, and are usually arranged in a row.
- Histologic features:
- epithelial thickening over a central fibrovascular core
- no glandular elements
- Treatment: none needed.
