Qualifying for Dues Reduction or Exemption

In special circumstances, AUA members may qualify for reduced or waived dues on an annual basis. The AUA offers these options to help members maintain their membership in good standing through unexpected or difficult conditions. The AUA has made the application process as simple as possible. Begin the process by filling out one of the appropriate forms, below. Once submitted, the forms will be reviewed by the Director of Member Services, to make sure that all the paperwork is in order. Member Services will then notify members of their status.

To apply, select and print a copy of one of the forms below. When you have completed the form, mail the application along with any other required information to:
American Urological Association
Attention: Member Services Department
1000 Corporate Boulevard
Linthicum, MD 21090

Or fax the completed application along with any other required information to:
American Urological Association
Attention: Member Services Department
410-689-3939

Application for Reduced Dues Status
If you are an AUA member for whom a full dues payment would be considered a financial hardship for any of the reasons on the above application, you may be eligible for Reduced Dues Status ($190).

Application for Dues Waiver Status For Financial Hardship by Reason of Temporary Physical Disability or Illness
If you are an AUA member for whom a dues payment would be considered a financial hardship by reason of temporary physical disability or illness, you may qualify for this dues waiver. The Member Services Director will require a physician's letter indicating proof of disability each time a member requests this waiver. See application for more information.

Dues Exempt Status
If you are an Active or International member who is retired and/or meets the years of service requirement and/or is permanently disabled, you may qualify. Please call a Member Services representative at 410-689-3933 to check your membership record.
