The mission of the American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc., (AUA/ER) Office of Education is to provide quality continuing medical education that is independent, free of commercial bias, and based on valid content to enhance the clinical competence and performance of urologists and the urologic care team.
Continuing Medical Education is provided by the AUA/ER in all domains of urology. The AUA/ER also provides education in the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education/American Board of Medical Specialties core competencies for physicians.
The primary target audiences are AUA members, urology residents, urology sub-specialty fellows, and other members of the urologic care team.

The American Urological Association, Inc.® (AUA) supports the American Board of Urology as it continues to develop effective and acceptable processes of recertification and MOC. The AUA's educational courses are aligned with the ABU's requirements and are developed to be acceptable for recertification and MOC purposes, in addition to addressing the lifelong learning needs of the AUA membership.
