Upon completion of this module, the resident should be able to:
- Describe, in outline, the evolution of differing models of the patient-physician relationship.
- Describe and evaluate different models of the patient-physician relationship.
- Describe, contrast, and evaluate differing approaches to ensuring that the practice of medicine by physicians is ethical-i.e., virtue-based, duty-based, and principle-based approaches.
