  • Foci of bizarre polyhedral cells with eosinophilic granular cytoplasm and large hyperchromatic nuclei with pseudoinclusion (image A) & (image B).
  • Finding in infancy as component of Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome.
  • Also seen with other congenital anomalies and hydrops due to maternal-fetal Rhesus incompatibility.
  • Rarely, may be seen as focal change in adult adrenal gland.
