Activity Statement of Need/Description

The purpose of this program is to increase awareness among allied healthcare professionals of current AUA guidelines for common urological problems. This program will highlight their use in clinical case scenarios and demonstrate where to find these guidelines in an outpatient clinic setting. Topics to be addressed include the diagnosis and treatment of BPH and hematuria, management of ureteral stone disease, diagnosis and treatment of IC/painful bladder syndrome, pros and cons of screening for prostate cancer and treatment options, penile rehabilitation programs for men after radical prostatectomy, management of low stage bladder cancer, treatment options for the small renal mass and coding for the office. This is a free educational program.
