For more than a century, the AUA Annual Meeting has presented the most advanced science and technologies in urology, boasting a robust program unrivaled anywhere in the world. We encourage you to submit your application for renewals or new courses for AUA2013.
The AUA is currently seeking submissions for its prestigious Annual Meeting educational program in the following categories:
- Instructional Course (IC) – Instructional Courses are scheduled for 2 hours.
- Post Graduate Course (PG) – Post-Graduate Courses are scheduled for 3.25 hours.
- Hands on Course (HO) – Hands-on Courses are scheduled for three hours. Typically, the first hour is devoted to didactic presentation followed by two hours of hands-on instruction. The schedule could be adjusted as appropriate in accordance with the instruction level of the course (i.e., advanced courses may have one hour hands-on followed by two hours of case presentation and problem solving scenarios).
The AUA Annual Meeting now offers courses for allied health professionals to enhance the knowledge of the entire urologic care team.
The deadline to submit your course ideas for the 2013 Annual Meeting is June 20, 2012.
Course applications will be reviewed by the Chair of Education and members of sub-specialty society and committee leaders. You will be notified by August 31, 2012 as to whether your course was accepted or not.
