Dr. Rajeev Kumar is Additional Professor of Urology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi where he obtained all his medical training and graduated at the top of his class both for the basic and urology degrees.
His principal areas of clinical work are microsurgery for male infertility, laparoscopy/robotics and percutaneous stone surgery. His research interests focus on genetics of male infertility and magnetic resonance spectroscopy for prostate cancer. He has published over 160 peer reviewed articles and book chapters.
He will become the Chief Editor of the Indian Journal of Urology in 2014 and serves in various editorial capacities for the National Medical Journal of India, International Journal of Urology and the Journal of Men's Health. He is a member of the Board of Education of the Urological Society of India and an examiner for the Urology degree exams. He is keenly interested in medical publishing and conducts workshops and seminars on authorship, study design and ethics.
Rupin Shah, MD
Sub-Specialty Areas: Male Infertility and Sexual Dysfunctions
Dr. Rupin Shah is a qualified urologist who has exclusively practiced andrology since the last 25 years. He is the leading expert in male infertility and sexual dysfunction in India. He has developed the SHAH penile prosthesis which is the most commonly used penile implant in India. He has numerous other innovations to his credit and has extensive experience in microsurgery for male infertility, operative sperm retrieval procedures, and the management of ejaculatory dysfunctions. He has held numerous academic positions and is currently the President of the South Asian Society of Sexual Medicine. He is a very popular lecturer and teacher and has been conducting an Annual Andrology Training workshop since the past 20 years.
