The American Urological Association (AUA) is a global membership organization with more than 21,000 members that bridges urologic communities through education, research, policy and philanthropy. Membership in the AUA provides urology professionals an opportunity to share a collective purpose with others around the world – the advancement of urologic patient care. The geographic breadth of the AUA’s membership fosters relationships that encourage important exchanges between urology professionals around the world.
The AUA strives to provide members with useful benefits, programs and services in support of their profession. AUA members enjoy full access to quality educational services such as the International Academy, the Urology Core Curriculum, and The Journal of Urology, which promote the highest standards in urology worldwide. The AUA currently offers two membership categories for international urologists. Practicing urologists are eligible for International membership, and urology residents are eligible for International Residents-in-Training membership.
