Executive Coordinator – Education and Meetings
<p>The American Urological Association is the premier association for the advancement of urologic patient care. We are actively recruiting an experienced Executive Coordinator – Education and Meetings.</p>
<p>Responsibilities include providing executive level administrative support for Executive Vice President (EVP), Education & Meetings as well as project management across the three departments (Conventions & Meetings, Education and International Programs). Coordinates and/or manages selected projects such as live OE courses, annual meeting programs and international activities. Provides administrative support to the Chair of Education and interacts regularly with the Director of Education and Senior Managers of Conventions & Meetings and International Programs. Works on special projects related to the Annual Meeting such as the mobile app, Portuguese Urology Program, competitive show research, other medical specialty society research, ROI, etc. Serves as main contact when EVP is not in the office.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will possess an Associates degree, preferably a Bachelor’s degree and four to five years proven senior level administrative experience. Candidate must also be advanced in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and email. Strong typing skills (45 - 50 wpm). Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Project management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills including editing and proofing skills. Availability to travel to the Annual Meeting.</p>
