AUA Seeks .NET Developer

We are currently accepting resumes from qualified candidates for the position of .NET Developer. This position will report on a day-to-day basis to the AUA AMS Application Sr. Manager. The individual in this role will have a broad understanding of .NET technology with a focus on technology stacks including those involving CRM solutions, online content servers, and online & mobile web applications. The developer will be involved in implementing solutions, including legacy platform modernization, through the project life cycle and ongoing support. This position will focus on translating applications from legacy solutions to web based solutions using web framework and technology.   

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Include but are not limited to:

  1. Design, develop and implement complex solutions based on Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5+ using C#, ASP.NET and ADO.Net.
  2. Will work with internal stakeholders to learn the business processes, operating systems, and application architectures in order to ensure that solutions fit the current or proposed architectural environment.
  3. Translate applications requirements into web-based solutions using the recommended frameworks and technology.
  4. Design and develop reusable components, accelerators and frameworks.
  5. Assist in the system integration of components.
  6. Implement Test Driven Development frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, etc.).
  7. Implement Design Pattern (Singleton, Factory and ASP.NET MVC).
  8. Implement Data Structures.
  9. Assist in translating customer service, marketing & financial business function needs into digitization and automation of technical solutions aligned with organizational goals and strategies.
  10. Develop, monitor and report metrics to senior management to ensure products function as intended and meet expected business goals.
  11. Be a strong team player and effectively participate in projects and daily operational activities.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. Master’s Degree preferred.
  2. At least 3 years’ experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  3. At least 2 years’ experience in Service Oriented Architecture/Service integration with Web Services, REST and security integration.
  4. At least 1 year of experience in working, defining, maintaining architectural frameworks, patterns & data structures.
  5. Experience with .NET-specific technologies such as Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) or Workflow Foundation (WF).
  6. Proficiency of scripting languages such as ASP.net, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON and other front-end scripting languages.
  7. Experience with Data Accessing including using Data Adapter, Data Reader and Dataset in ADO.NET and LINQ (Language Integrated Query) Providers for data manipulation.
  8. Must have knowledge in building applications with concurrency.
  9. Extensive experience working on SQL Server including writing Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Views and Database Design.
  10. Must demonstrate a broad understanding of IT environmental issues and solutions.
  11. Experience in CRM integration to SQL Server databases preferred.
  12. Experience writing batch jobs, queueable jobs.
  13. Experience building front-end applications using JavaScript, Angular JS, JSON, jQuery a plus.
  14. Experience building back-end application code that interfaces with other systems, services and APIs/RESTful APIs a plus.
  15. Experience in SEO content optimization.
  16. Developer Certification in cloud based CRM Systems, preferred.
