Whether we are contacting lawmakers on Capitol Hill or federal officials in government agencies, we are supporting and advocating for the practice of urology.

2019 Annual Urology Advocacy Summit a Success!

The 2019 Annual Urology Advocacy Summit brought together nearly 250 urologists, advanced practice providers, researchers, and patient advocates to advocate for key urologic issues in Washington, DC. Patient Access to PSA Testing

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force in May 2018 recommended prostate cancer screening in men ages 55-69. These recommendations are in direct alignment with the AUA's clinical practice guideline and guidelines from most other major physician groups - such as the American Cancer Society and the American College of Physicians, all which advocate for shared decision-making.   Learn more
