Transportation between Hotels and Convention Center

The AUA will provide shuttle service from Official AUA Hotels that are not within walking distance of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Transportation to New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is approximately 15 miles from the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. When transportation is required, New Orleans offers myriad of options, including shuttles, streetcars, bikes, pedicabs, cabs and taxis, and a ferry.

Airport Shuttle service is available to and from Downtown and Uptown New Orleans hotels, the French Quarter, the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and the Cruise Ship Terminals with purchase of a ticket.

Ground Transportation

Taxi service from the airport to New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center average at $36 from the airport to the city center for one or two people and $15 per passenger for three or more passengers.

Streetcars are a charming and convenient way to experience the many areas of New Orleans. There are (4) distinct lines, each originating Downtown, will take you through the French Quarter and beyond to places you might not otherwise get to see.

Parking

The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center offers ample parking at the Convention Center for a daily fee for meeting attendees and exhibitors. Parking is located on 400 Calliope Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. For ridesharing services, such as Uber or Lyft, pick-up and drop-off locations have been designated on S. Peters Street at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
