COVID-19 in Virginia

After weeks of restrictions, hospitals in Virginia are among the many across other states that are beginning to re-open their doors to non-emergency surgeries. COVID-19 in Alabama

In late March, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey closed non-essential businesses across the state and suspended non-urgent and elective surgeries and procedures. The state's stay-at-home order expired on April 30, and has been replaced with a "safer at home" directive as Alabama begins to reopen. Today we're speaking with Alabama urologist Dr. Lorie Fleck about her experience with the COVID-19 pandemic in Mobile County.

COVID-19 in Mexico

Mexico's COVID-19 case count is growing, with more than 11,000 cases as of April 24. In the nation's capital, Mexico City, nearly 3,000 patients are confirmed to have the virus. COVID-19 in Germany

In Germany, more than 145,000 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 as of April 22, making the country the third largest outbreak in Europe. In contrast to other countries in the European Region, Germany reports a markedly lower death rate than other countries in the region - which some of attributed to widespread testing across the country.
We spoke with German urologist Dr. Jens Rassweiler about what his country is experiencing and how it is impacting urology practice there.
