Refers to the accumulation of blood in the space between the parietal and visceral tunica vaginalis.
Often associated with a hydrocele.
Gross: blood-filled cavitary cyst that may be calcified with long duration.
Histology: fibrous capsule with or without calcifications, and organizing hemorrhage (image A) & (image B).
Idiopathic hematoma may arise in the spermatic cord or epididymis.
