Pearly Penile Papules
- Also known as "hirsutoid papillomas"
- Etiology: does not appear to be infectious or neoplastic; may represent persistence of embryonic remnants.
- Gross: yellow-white papules on the corona (rarely on the frenulum) of the penis; look dome-like, resembling hair, and are usually arranged in a row.
- Histologic features:
- Epithelial thickening over a central fibrovascular core.
- No glandular elements.
- Treatment: none needed.
