*Note: Active and Associate members must also be members of their AUA Section. Please contact your Section for membership application deadlines.
- Urologists actively practicing in the United States, Canada, Mexico or Central America who are Board-certified are eligible to apply for Active membership.
- Associate members need not meet the Board requirement.
- Doctors of Osteopathy who are in possession of an MD or DO degree (or United States medical licensure equivalent) and completion of a urology residency program accredited ACGME (or other equivalent accreditation organization) are eligible for Active membership.
As a premier urologic association, the AUA provides invaluable support to the urologic community. Whether we are focused on training, research or advocacy, the AUA works to promote urologists and the care that they provide to patients, and to advance the specialty.
