Qualifying for Dues Reduction or Exemption

In special circumstances, AUA members may qualify for reduced or waived dues on an annual basis. The AUA offers these options to help members maintain their membership in good standing through unexpected or difficult conditions. The AUA has made the application process as simple as possible. Begin the process by filling out one of the appropriate forms, below. Once submitted, the forms will be reviewed by the AUA Treasurer, after which the AUA will notify members of their status.

Application for Reduced Dues Status

If you are an AUA member for whom a full dues payment would be considered a financial hardship for any of the reasons on the above application, you may be eligible for Reduced Dues Status ($190).

Application for Dues Waiver Status For Financial Hardship by Reason of Temporary Physical Disability or Illness

If you are an AUA member for whom a dues payment would be considered a financial hardship by reason of temporary physical disability or illness, you may qualify for this dues waiver. A physician's letter indicating proof of disability is required as part of the application.

Senior Membership

If you are an Active or International member with 20 or more years of consecutive AUA membership and are fully retired from practice or permanently disabled, you may qualify for Senior Membership (dues exempt). Please call a Member Services representative at 410-689-3933 to check your membership record before applying.
