Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement (PCPI)

The Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement (PCPI) is the American Medical Association-convened premier organization dedicated to quality improvement and patient safety by aligning patient-centered care, physician performance measurement and quality improvement. To this end, the physician-led PCPI is focused on the production of valid and reliable evidence-based measures. The PCPI performance measures portfolio includes measure sets in 46 clinical areas with more than 280 individual measures.

The American Urological Association (AUA) has collaborated with PCPI on two of its measure sets: prostate cancer and stress urinary incontinence.
