Jun Kamei, MD, PhD 2026 AUA/JUA EXCHANGE SCHOLAR PROGRAM /images/headshots/2026%20IP%20Scholars/Kamei%20Headshot_JUA.jpg <p>Dr. Jun Kamei is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan. He earned his MD degree in 2008 and his PhD in 2017, both from the University of Tokyo.</p> <p>Dr. Kamei&rsquo;s research specializes in lower urinary tract dysfunction and urinary tract infections. He has published approximately thirty peer‑reviewed articles as a first or corresponding author and has received several research awards in Japan in recognition of his academic contributions.</p> <p>As part of the AUA/JUA Exchange Scholar Program, Dr. Jun Kamei will attend the 2026 AUA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. &nbsp;Following the meeting, he will observe at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.</p>
