  <Biography type="xhtml" UID="90596f3bfc69427f9f79d2727a8feaea" label="Biography" readonly="false" hidden="false" required="false" indexable="false" Height="" CIID="">&lt;p&gt;Dr. Hiroki Ishihara is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at Tokyo Women&amp;rsquo;s Medical University in Tokyo, Japan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dr. Ishihara completed his MD degree from Kanazawa University in 2011 and his PhD from Tokyo Women&amp;rsquo;s Medical University in 2021. He completed a four‑year research fellowship in the Division of Epigenetics at the National Cancer Center Research Institute in Tokyo, where he investigated molecular alterations across various types of cancer, including kidney cancer.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dr. Ishihara&amp;rsquo;s research focuses on robotic surgery for the treatment of genitourinary cancers. He has participated in multiple real‑world data studies evaluating perioperative and oncological outcomes following systemic therapy for genitourinary malignancies, including urothelial and kidney cancers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;His current work includes several translational research projects examining the pathogenesis and tumor immune microenvironment of kidney cancers using human samples. These studies employ genome‑wide, multi‑omics, and single‑cell analyses, as well as flow cytometry. Dr. Ishihara has authored more than one hundred original research publications and has received multiple grants and awards from public and private funding bodies and professional medical associations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As part of the AUA/JUA Exchange Program, Dr. Ishihara will attend the 2026 AUA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. Following the meeting, he will observe at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</Biography>
