2026 AUA/USI EXCHANGE SCHOLAR PROGRAM (TO INDIA)

Vishnuvardhan Ganesan, MD 2026 AUA/USI EXCHANGE SCHOLAR PROGRAM (TO INDIA) /images/headshots/2026%20IP%20Scholars/Ganesan.jpg Dr. Vishnuvardhan Ganesan is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Minnesota, where he has been a faculty member since November 2023. He is fellowship trained in endourology, and his clinical practice focuses on management of benign prostatic hyperplasia and kidney stone disease. He has expertise in performing holmium laser enucleation of the prostate and percutaneous nephrolithotomy. Dr. Ganesan graduated from Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine in 2017, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his urology residency at the University of Southwestern Texas in 2022, followed by an endourology fellowship in Endourology at the University of Minnesota in 2023. Dr. Ganesan's research interests include artificial intelligence and digital health applications in urology in stone disease. He has published over thirty peer-reviewed articles in leading journals such as The Journal of Urology, World Journal of Urology, Journal of Endourology, and Urology. Dr. Ganesan is an active member of the American Urological Association (AUA) and the Endourology Society, where he serves as a member of the website committee. As part of the AUA/USI Exchange Scholar Program, Dr. Ganesan attended the 2026 USI Congress in Indore, India and observed at the Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital in Nadiad, India.
