  <Biography type="xhtml" UID="90596f3bfc69427f9f79d2727a8feaea" label="Biography" readonly="false" hidden="false" required="false" indexable="false" Height="" CIID="">&lt;p&gt;Dr. V&amp;iacute;ctor Cornejo‑D&amp;aacute;vila is Chair of the Department of Urology at the Regional Hospital of Specialties &lt;em&gt;&amp;ldquo;City of Health&amp;rdquo;&lt;/em&gt; in Chiapas, Mexico, where he provides specialized urologic care to one of the country&amp;rsquo;s most underserved regions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and completed his urology residency at Gea Gonz&amp;aacute;lez Hospital in Mexico City.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Since 2012, Dr. Cornejo‑D&amp;aacute;vila has been actively involved in academic medicine, teaching medical students and urology residents and contributing to clinical research. He has published extensively in peer‑reviewed journals, including &lt;em&gt;Urology&lt;/em&gt;, &lt;em&gt;International Urology and Nephrology&lt;/em&gt;, and &lt;em&gt;Actas Urol&amp;oacute;gicas Espa&amp;ntilde;olas&lt;/em&gt;, and serves as a reviewer for international journals such as &lt;em&gt;Urologia Internationalis&lt;/em&gt; and &lt;em&gt;Current Urology&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He has represented Mexico in the South-Central Section of the American Urological Association (AUA) since 2022. His clinical and research interests include stone disease, endourology, and reconstructive urology, with particular emphasis on ureteral strictures.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As part of the AUA/Mexican Visiting Scholar Program, Dr. Cornejo‑D&amp;aacute;vila will attend the 2026 AUA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. Following the meeting, he will visit the University of Alabama at Birmingham to observe endourology and minimally invasive management techniques and participate in academic and clinical activities.&lt;/p&gt;</Biography>
