  <Biography type="xhtml" UID="90596f3bfc69427f9f79d2727a8feaea" label="Biography" readonly="false" hidden="false" required="false" indexable="false" Height="" CIID="">&lt;p&gt;Dr. Hans Arora is an Associate Professor of Urology and Interim Chief of the Division of Pediatric Urology at the University of North Carolina &amp;ndash; Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He also holds roles as Director of Pediatric Robotic Surgery and Co-Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety within the department.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dr. Arora joined the University of North Carolina after completing a fellowship in pediatric urology at the Ann &amp;amp; Robert H. Lurie Children&amp;rsquo;s Hospital of Chicago, prior to which he completed urology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Glickman Urological &amp;amp; Kidney Institute. He earned his MD and PhD degrees from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Medical Scientist Training Program. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in pediatric and adult urology and is an active reviewer for several journals including The Journal of Pediatric Urology, Urology, and the Journal of Urology.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Colleges of Surgeons, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Urological Association, where he has held numerous leadership roles through the years, and currently serves as Chair of the AUA Young Urologists Committee and Chair-elect of the AUA State Advocacy Committee. He has interests in health policy and advocacy and understanding the impact of political and legislative issues on the practice of urology and has been an invited speaker on a variety of health policy-related topics.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As part of the AUA/JUA Exchange Program, Dr. Arora will attend the JUA 2026 Congress in Kyoto and observe at Hokkaidō University in Japan, where he will have the opportunity to observe pediatric urology, as participate in with academic, clinical, and institutional activities.&lt;/p&gt;</Biography>
