<p>When considering treatment for BPH, all appropriate treatment modalities, including fluid and behavioral modifications should be offered to patients. Selection of proper intervention should consider patient goals, anatomical and physiological characteristics, intervention benefits, treatment failure, retreatment rates, and potential treatment side effects.</p>
<p>The interventions discussed in this Guideline have evidence of symptom improvements; there is no evidence to support a stepwise approach for patients with LUTS/BPH.</p>
