Patient Education & Grants Manager
<p>The American Urological Association: Urology Care Foundation is the leading national urology health foundation and the official Foundation of the American Urological Association. We are actively recruiting for a Patient Education & Grants Manager.</p>
<p>Responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>The overall execution of patient education strategy and grant deliverables.</li>
<li>The day to day logistics management of the Patient Education Council and committees.</li>
<li>Overseeing the patient education outreach to the urologic community</li>
<li>Writing, editing and coordinating production and distribution of patient education materials</li>
<li>Managing Foundation exhibiting at relevant meetings</li>
</ul>
<p>The successful candidate will have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor degree in healthcare, business, social services, communications or related field.</li>
<li>Five or more years of experience in the development and management of education materials. Experience with patient education materials a plus</li>
<li>Proven project management competency</li>
<li>Experience working with a governing board as well as volunteers</li>
<li>Excellent written, oral communication and relationship building skills</li>
<li>Attention to detail and organizational skills critical</li>
<li>Internet, Word, Excel, Power Point and database high proficiency required</li>
</ul>
