Resident/Fellow Membership Eligibility and Requirements

Eligible applicants for Resident/Fellow Membership must be:

  • a resident enrolled in an ACGME-accredited or AOA urology residency training program in the United States, or an equivalent accredited urology residency program in Canada, Mexico, or Central America 
  • a clinical fellow enrolled in an accredited fellowship or post residency training program or post-doctoral research fellow with a PhD, MD or equivalent degree in the United States, Canada, Mexico, or Central America who is actively engaged in biomedical research under a qualified mentor

A letter signed by your residency program director on letterhead confirming you are a resident in good standing and your expected graduation date (typed or printed clearly in English) and a $50 application fee is required as part of the application.

*dues for Resident/Fellow members in countries outside the U.S. and Canada (within AUA Section boundaries) are stratified according to the World Bank classification of country. View membership dues by country.
