Government Program Reporting

The AQUA Registry meets Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements for quality reporting and has the potential to eliminate government-imposed financial penalties under the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). The AQUA Registry helps urologic practices submit performance measures to CMS and other payers with the highest performance measures through our system optimization.

National Benchmarking and Quality Improvement

AQUA Registry participants can benchmark their performance scores against aggregated scores at national and registry levels. The interactive dashboard allows participants to identify low-performance areas to help guide quality improvement activities.

Whether you’re a solo practitioner or a member of an academic medical center, the AQUA Registry offers analytic tools to assist in achieving the quality improvement goals for your practice and patients.

Credit Toward ABU's Life Long Learning Program

Physicians participating in the AQUA Registry who have access to and utilize the interactive dashboard and AQUA Registry improvement tools are eligible to receive Practice Assessment Protocol (PAP) credit for the American Board of Urology's (ABU) Life Long Learning Program (formerly MOC).

Research

As a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) with national coverage of patients with urologic diseases, data collected through the AQUA Registry can fuel health services and policy research. AQUA Registry data have the potential to support basic science and translational research to help fill current knowledge gaps. All data used in published reports or articles are de-identified at aggregated levels.

Privacy Policy

Identifiable patient information collected by the AQUA Registry is stored on a secure Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant cloud server. Each practice and provider will have access to a private report showing their performance with benchmarking comparisons against national and registry statistics.
