Looking for grant funding to pursue your Fellowship research? Post-doc or junior faculty in need of initial funding to set up your lab as you pursue federal grants? Urology resident looking to make meaningful strides during your research months? A medical student interested in urology and keen for opportunities to get engaged?

Join us Saturday May 4, 2024 1-2 p.m. at the Urology Care Foundation booth during our “Ask a Researcher Hour” to learn about the wide range of research grant opportunities supported by the Urology Care Foundation. Attendees will be able to ask questions on funding available, application best practices, and more from established urology physician-scientists and investigators.

Urology Care Foundation Research Honors Program & Reception

5:30-7:30 p.m.

The American Urological Association and the Urology Care Foundation (UCF) recognize the outstanding achievements of early-career investigators who are completing a UCF-funded research project, acknowledge new research grant recipients, and present Awards of Distinction to accomplished senior urology researchers at the annual Research Honors Program & Reception. This premier event for urology researchers at the AUA Annual Meeting is comprised of an award recognition ceremony, networking reception, and scientific poster session for UCF-funded grantees.

The only session at the AUA Annual Meeting dedicated to showcasing the work of early-career physician-scientists and researchers, this forum focuses on domestic and international early-career scientists and their impactful projects in a poster session and series of judged podium presentations. This highly anticipated annual event highlights innovative, relevant, and potentially impactful research projects across the research spectrum from bench to bedside and beyond. Winners of the podium presentation competition, judged by highly accomplished senior urologic researchers, receive a certificate of achievement and bragging rights for the following year!
