Statement of Need
Urology Practitioners must develop competence in implementation of the latest clinical practice guidelines and appropriate use of new and emerging surgical techniques to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Learning Objectives
After participation in this CME activity, participants will be able to:
- Analyze recent developments in the medical and surgical management of urology patients.
- Determine the applicability of new technologies for the treatment of urologic conditions.
- Integrate the latest guidelines on the management of urological diseases into their practice.
- Incorporate evidence-based research and literature into the shared decision-making process for patient care.
Method of Participation
Learners will participate by attending the in-person session(s), logging into the live virtual session(s), or logging into the on-demand (enduring) session(s) beginning April 25, 2025 through August 31, 2025. After completing selected sessions, learners will complete the credit claim attestation and activity evaluation.
Accreditation Statement
The American Urological Association (AUA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Credit Designation
The American Urological Association designates this Other Activity (live activity and enduring materials) for a maximum of 479 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. (*Note, the maximum credits includes all available participation formats and is subject to change if sessions are added or canceled prior to the activity start date.)
Other Learners
TThe AUA is not accredited to offer credit to participants who are not MDs or DOs. However, the AUA will issue documentation of participation that states that the activity was certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

Mitigation of Identified Conflict of Interest
