AUA2026 – Ethical MedTech Compliance

The AUA and AUA's Official Housing Bureau – OnPeak – observe MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Practice and Mecomed Code of Business Practice. The 2026 AUA Annual Meeting is currently "provisionally compliant" in the Ethical MedTech Conference Vetting System (CVS) and the final determination is pending.

What is Ethical MedTech Conference Vetting System?

CVS is an independent entity that reviews the compliance of third-party educational events with both MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice and Mecomed Code of Business Practice (the "Codes"). CVS determines the appropriateness for companies which are members of MedTech Europe and Mecomed to provide financial support to such events in the form of educational grants or commercial activities (booths, advertising, satellite symposium).

CVS aims to simplify and centralize decision-making for MedTech Europe and Mecomed members by establishing a single assessment procedure based on a set of criteria provisioned in the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice. Learn more about the Ethical MedTech Compliance Vetting System.
