The AQUA Registry Has Been Approved as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) for the 2026 Reporting Period

AUA's AQUA Registry has once again been approved by CMS as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) for the 2026 reporting year. AQUA will support a robust set of 51 quality measures, including seven urology-specific nonQPP measures exclusively available through AQUA. These CMS-approved non-QPP measures address crucial areas such as prostate cancer, stones, and bladder cancer. AQUA also will support an additional 44 QPP measures (28 CQMs and 16 eCQMs). Additionally, AQUA will support three MVPs for 2026: Advancing Cancer Care; Focusing on Women's Health; and the MVP specifically developed for Urology (the Optimal Care for Patients with Urologic Conditions MVP). Importantly, in addition to the individual, group, and subgroup participation options, AQUA also will support the APM Entity option, enabling MIPS APM participants to report via AQUA. The QCDR designation is vital to AQUA's mission of assisting participants in meeting the MIPS reporting requirements established by CMS.
