Residency Research Awards
Residency Research Awards provide urology residents with research training to enable them to build momentum toward a career that includes research.
Awards are $10,000 each, restricted to research supplies and other resources needed to conduct a 3-12 month research project during the resident's research training period. Residents must be able to maintain 80% protected time for the duration of the research project.

How to Apply
The deadline to submit letters of intent is 5:00 p.m. EST, November 3, 2025. Full Proposals are due 5:00 p.m. EST, January 5, 2026. Applicants must submit a letter of intent, proposal, and all required documents electronically via ProposalCentral at https://proposalcentral.com/. Submission of materials via email, fax, or postal mail will not be accepted.

- 8 p.m. ET — CMS deadline to apply for the 2025 Extreme and Uncontrollable Circumstances (EUC) and/or Promoting Interoperability (PI) hardship exemptions.
January 31, 2025
- Last day to upload the Health Insurance Claim Form (CMS 1500 Form) and sign the Data Release Consent Forms (DRCF) via the AQUA Registry dashboard.
