Target Audience

This three day conference is designed for residents preparing for Part I of the ABU Qualifying Examination. This course is also of interest to practicing urologists taking the Recertification Examination or those looking to update or refresh their knowledge base.

In preparation for the American Board of Urology (ABU) Qualifying (Part 1) Examination, residents need to have basic urologic knowledge to prepare them for the ABU examinations. To fulfill this need, the American Urological Association (AUA) developed this course to disseminate current urologic knowledge. This course is also of interest to practicing urologist preparing for the Recertification Examination as well as others, including allied health professionals, looking for a thorough review of basic urologic topics.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Apply basic, generally-accepted urological practices for superior patient care.
• Demonstrate core knowledge of urology necessary for Part I of the American Board of Urology (ABU) qualifying examination and for the recertification examination.
• Utilize AUA Guidelines for appropriate patient evaluation and management.

Cancellation Policy

Live Course: An administrative fee of 15% is assessed if registration is cancelled up to six weeks prior to the course. If registration is cancelled four to six weeks from the course, the cancellation fee is 50% of the registration fee paid. No registration fees will be refunded less than four weeks prior to the course.

Webcast: Cancellations must be made no later than one week prior to the live course. Subscription fees will not be refunded after the cancellation period. Purchases after the live course date are not eligible for a refund.

Registration Transfer: Customers switching from an option of lesser value to a higher value will be required to pay the difference in cost between the two options. Switching to an option of lesser value from a higher value must be made no later than to six weeks prior to the course and will be subject to an administrative fee of 15% of the cost of the course from which they are transferring. Transfer of registration from a higher value option to an option of lesser value past six weeks prior to the course will not receive a refund.

The meeting syllabus is a three volume comprehensive study guide, providing in-depth review of every urologic subject that consists of all of the course slides. You may preorder a copy of the syllabus in advance at a discounted rate of $205 beginning now through May 19, 2017. Syllabus orders must be received on or before Friday, May 19, 2017. A limited supply of the three volume syllabus will be available for purchase onsite at an increased price.
