We are glad to have you onboard. Technology is a big part of the workplace and we want you to have the best experience possible using the AUA Technologies and getting the support you need to be successful! Use this online guide to help you navigate through some of the most common questions and problems that users have. Please do not hesitate to email or call the Help Desk if you have any problems or questions. If you are unsure and do not know who to call for something, we can point you in the right direction.
Your Username
- Your username will be your first initial followed by your last name. In the rare event your username does not follow this naming convention, we will make you aware during orientation.
- The initial password will be given to you by an administrator and must be changed immediately upon first login. This can be done by pressing ctrl+alt+delete and selecting "Change a password".

IT Support is here to assist you with your technology related questions and issues. You can contact the support team using any of the methods below.

IT Support Hours:
Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (excluding holidays)
User access request & password reset *** The IT Team will NEVER ask you for your password***
Submit a Ticket via a endesk support ticket at: auanet.zendesk.com. All messages sent via Zendesk will automatically have a ticket created in our ticket tracking system. Someone from the IT Support team will contact you about your issue within one hour of receiving your ticket or email.
New Hire: Security Awareness
The Security Awareness Training Program contains courses and resources that will enhance your understanding of the issues that you may face as an employee. Topics include incident response, malware, safe surfing, human firewalls, phishing, social engineering, mobile and the Cloud, backup and preventative care, physical and non-technical security, privacy, and IT policy.
KnowBe4 is the AUA's online platform for the Security Awareness Training Program. The Infrastructure & Security department requires AUA staff to complete security training annually.
