Calling for Peer Reviewers on AUA’s Draft Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer Guideline Amendment

The AUA is seeking reviewers for the new draft on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer Guideline Amendment.

The AUA is providing members and other interested parties the opportunity to review and provide comments on the draft Guideline Amendment on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer. The draft Guideline is estimated to be available in May 2026, and a time period of approximately 10 days will be allotted for this assessment. Before being sent a copy of the draft Guideline, all reviewers must disclose their current industry relationships here: https://my.auanet.org/NC__Login?startURL=%2F in order to comply with the AUA’s conflict of interest (COI) policy. You must also complete and sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) which can be downloaded by clicking this link: non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Information about the draft must be kept confidential until after the Guideline has been published to the AUA website in its final state.

Interested reviewers MUST do the following:

  1. Complete your COI disclosures via the link above (if you do not have an AUA account, you may request a COI form from staff via the email below)
  2. Email Salman Bahlaiwa at sbahlaiwa@auanet.org with the following information:
    • Your full name
    • Your credentials, if applicable (e.g., MD, DO, PhD)
    • Current location (city, state, country [if outside the U.S.])
    • AUA ID# (if available)
    • Preferred email address
    • Your completed NDA form

The deadline to submit all required information to peer review the document is April 23, 2026. Requests after that date cannot be processed.
