Medical Student Urological Curriculum

The American Urological Association (AUA) believes it is mandatory that training for the diagnosis and treatment of genitourinary diseases (as outlined in the AUA's National Medical Student Curriculum) be included in the standard medical school curriculum. The AUA also believes it is mandatory for this training to be conducted by urologic faculty. The urologic faculty should participate in primary care clerkships.
